Copywriting In Marketing
Running a digital business can be a very isolating experience. It's all too easy to get lost in the online world and forget that you're trying to sell to real people, with real feelings and real lives. That's where good copywriting comes in.
Copywriting is the art of writing persuasive, interesting, and engaging text that will make people want to buy from you.
Quality copy will make your business stand out from the crowd, set you apart from the competition, and ultimately help you make more sales. Your website copy should convey how your site can help and prompt visitors to take action.
If you get lots of traffic but convert few visitors, it could indicate unclear messaging or value props.
This post will show a handful of tactics to fix those above-mentioned problems and get you back on track.

What is the best way to write a landing page?
Or maybe a sales email?
I understand that copywriting can be terribly daunting, so if you're not really sure where to begin, here's a step-by-step guide to get you started.
Assemble your raw materials.
It all begins with analysis. You'd like a lot more content than you'll be able to use in your copy. Take notes on your client's problems and priorities, personal stories, business perspectives, and everything else that may be useful.
Set up your framework.
By delivering the messages in the correct order, you will make a convincing case. As a result, the first step is to create an outline for your piece. Fortunately, there are tried-and-true formulas you can use to direct and speed up your writing. As an example. PASO (Problem, Agitation, Solution, and Outcome) is an acronym for Problem, Agitation, Solution, and Outcome.
Fill in the best ideas.
Make a list of the top notch ideas for each segment. You don't even need to use complete sentences at this stage. If you're stuck, go back over your process and collect some more raw material.
Make complete sentences.
Turn your scribbles into complete sentences now. Keep the sentences and paragraphs as short as possible. Large blocks of text appear overwhelming and are more difficult to read.
Take a breather (I love this part)
Place your copy elsewhere and don't look at it for 24 hours...preferably a few days. You can find flaws much more quickly when you revisit it with fresh eyes and detoxed mind.
Make changes to your text copy.
Check that the sections flow into one another smoothly by reading your copy aloud.
Then, answer the following questions: Is it crystal clear? Does it trigger the appropriate emotions? Is it obvious what will the reader get out of it? Is it believable? Is it specific? Did you remove any risk? If you can, get some feedback or comment from a trusted reliable source.
And after a spell and grammar check with a tool like Grammarly or Hemingway etc, your copy is good to go.
Copywriting Secrets Summary
PRO TIP: One of the things that really got me the edge with my online business is writing good sales copy.
I just wish it didn't take so long to learn how to do it. (the right way)
I wish I hadn't spent thousands of hours rewriting classic ads manually by hand to create an art of great salesmanship in my cerebral cortex.
I wish I hadn't spent tens of thousands of dollars a year on copywriting coaching and critiques, getting world-class copywriters tear my work apart and then force me put it back together again, wiping tears off my cheeks.
I wish I hadn't had to split test thousands of headlines.
I wish I hadn't had to write "blind" without ever knowing if it's going to work and letting the marketplace send me the test results in a form of zero sales.
I wish I hadn't had to read hundreds of copywriting classics that teach the basic principles of persuasion in print, but no specific application of these principles in my market, my audience, my products.
What's done is done.
So it's too late for me.
But not for YOU.
And in spite of what other experts are saying, I am now convinced you don't need to be a world-class copywriter to profitably build your online business.
In fact, I figured out a way to put together an entire high-converting affiliate funnel, without writing a single of copy yourself.
Do you see what it means?
For the first time ever, you won't have to "get creative" about successfully promoting affiliate links & offers.
Specifically, I'll show you how to ethically borrow someone else's sales copy (that they have already written, polished, tested and market-proofed) and make high affiliate commissions.
